12 WEEKS OF SUMMER 2018
There is something magical about summer to me. It's this stretch of time where lots happens and yet time feels like it's standing still all at once. It always ends too soon. Myriam of Farah Photography and I created this joint project to commit to document our summers. One photo, one moment to represent what summer was for us that week.

Snorkeling in the hot tub, park hopping, poutine and deep fried oreos to end the day, sweet Madi, ninja costume shopping, 8 hours straight of bouncy castle with cousins and friends, 25 ft slip n' slide in the cold, papati and banana cream pie.
Discovering lego, Children's museum with Myriam and the boys, the pointiest of elbows attack daddy, jean jacket surprise and back to school bike rides, soaking up the last bits of summer, housekeeping....airport goodbyes in pjs - they already miss you matante.
On the way back home. That early morning light. The noise of your training wheels. Pretending not to hear me as I shout to slow down. Fingernails painted blue and gold (your favourite). Stopping to watch the bees. Collecting wildflowers, pine cones, rocks, leaves. Shooing away the squirrels. The walk back home won't be the same without you next year. I'll miss you.
