12 WEEKS OF SUMMER 2019

There is something magical about summer to me. It's this stretch of time where lots happens and yet time feels like it's standing still all at once. It always ends too soon. Myriam of Farah Photography and I created this joint project to commit to document our summers. One photo, one moment to represent what summer was for us that week.

WEEK 12: 16 Years

16 years together. What better way to end #12weeksofsummer2019 than with a photo with this guy. He accepts me as I am, laughs at my silly jokes and he's the best dad to two of my favourite people. There were 93 other photos that didn't make the cut and won't see the light of day but we got this one just before the mosquitos ate us alive and as the kids pretended to sleep.

WEEK 11: Trapped in a glass cage of emotion

Last week of summer vacation, glow in the dark mini putt x2, basketball in the face, slime making, homemade donuts, kids baking reboot, riding the city bus, meeting dad for lunch, swimming with friends until the sun goes down.
